Day 2 of 30 – Understanding what’s going on in your body will help you lose.

One day behind you already! Time can go really quickly and each of us can manage one day. That said, I’d like to warn you that today could be tough. By Day 2 of any diet, your body is dropping visceral fat (more about this later) and it’s quite likely you are going to feel ill. You may get a headache, feel a bit shaky, get flu-like symptoms or even feel nausea. Instead of jumping to the conclusion that the diet is bad for you, realise that this is purely a result of filling your body with stuff it doesn’t need or like. The feeling won’t last long so power through it with lots of water and a couple of mild pain killers and if necessary go to bed and sleep it off. When you wake you will have been through the worst and your body will be ready for the good stuff.

Day 1 of doing things Differently!

If you are not at the weight you want to be right now, logically something needs to be done in a different way. I invite you to follow all the suggestions on the blog and try something you have never tried before. You may not want to hear this but it is often the thing you want to do least which is the thing you need to do most!!

Yesterday is dead and gone…..But tomorrow can change your life!

There is absolutely no point in looking back over all the “bad” things you’ve done in the past nor regretting the time you feel you have wasted. It serves no purpose unless you can be objective and see what you can learn from it. If you can’t do that, wipe the slate clean right here, right now and make up your mind to move on.

From tomorrow at 8.30, I will be putting up a useful bite size blog each day of January to help you get started. The only thing you need to do is read it and commit to following what is right for you.

Don’t forget that there is also a forum for you to ask questions, ask for suggestions, share your own learnings and wisdom and of course, your successes. I really look forward to chatting with you and watching you shrink!
